This release expands ITSDU with a much stronger offline resource experience, a redesigned dashboard/calendar surface, better download feedback, and more durable app settings.

Offline resources

• Added offline resource caching for course files.
• Added a dedicated cached resources page with search, filtering, sorting, status indicators, size overview, and bulk removal.
• Added “Cache for offline” actions directly from the resource explorer.
• Cached files can now be reopened without fetching them again.
• PDF and other document views now show clearer offline/unavailable states with retry actions.
• Added offline indicators so it is clearer when cached resources remain available.

Resource cache settings

• Added settings for cache behavior:

  • Cache opened resources
  • Cache opened PDFs only
  • Manual only

• Added configurable maximum cache size.

• Added cache health overview with healthy/stale/missing records.

• Added cleanup actions for stale cache entries.

• Improved cache metadata tracking, including cached date, last opened date, file type, MIME type, and cache status.

Downloads

• Added live download progress tracking.
• Improved the download activity popover with progress bars, dismiss actions, retry actions, and quick open/open-folder actions.
• Download completion and failure events now carry structured metadata for better UI updates.

Dashboard, planner, and calendar

• Expanded the dashboard and app surfaces with richer planner/calendar information.
• Added a stronger calendar/planner experience with more useful overview sections.
• Improved durable app preferences used across the app.

• Improved resource type detection and badges.
